This lure is incredibly effective at catching fish. I purchased the Pear (white)/red head version and used it throughout an entire weekend (April 12-15, 2017) at Clarks Hill Lake, GA. It proved to be one of the best lures for catching both largemouth bass and stripers. The 1 oz weight allows you to cast it an impressive distance, but reeling it back in can be quite the workout. Despite the effort, this lure is an essential tool for spring fishing when bass are actively hitting the surface. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to maximize their catch during this season

I began using these lures after experiencing inconsistent quality with KVD 1.0 crankbaits over the past decade. While some of the KVD baits would run well, others simply didn’t perform as expected. When I saw these lures at Walmart, I decided to give them a try, and I’m glad I did. These lures have quickly become the most effective tools in my walleye fishing arsenal, with the black and silver variant standing out as the top performer. Not only have they proven to be excellent for walleye, but I’ve also had smallmouth bass, lake trout, and even muskie hit them. I’ve caught a variety of species with this lure, especially in late fall and early spring. I typically let it hit the bottom, and within a few reels, I usually have a fish on. The 3/4 oz and 1/2 oz sizes have landed me crappie, bass, and trout, with bites often coming during the pause. These lures cast far, perform well in windy conditions, and have a unique, old-school design that really works. I’ve bought it multiple times and, despite occasional snags on rocks, it remains incredibly effective. In just four hours across three sessions, I caught over 70 fish. Highly recommended
